Dr Pei-Chun Lin is Assistant Professor for the master’s degree program on human
rights at Soochow University, Taiwan. Her area of expertise is children's rights, with a
focus on the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child within
Taiwan.
Pei-Chun was actively involved in promoting the incorporation of the UN Convention
on the Rights of the Child into Taiwanese domestic law; and served on the advisory
committee for the Taiwanese Ministry of Health and Welfare’s first report to the
Committee on the Rights of the Child during 2016 and 2017.
She has also worked as legal counsel for major law firms and corporations within
Taiwan, before becoming an academic.
Pei-Chun holds a PhD in law from the National Cheng-Chi University, Taiwan.
