Shih-I Yen currently serves as the supervisor for the Foundation for Women’s Rights Promotion and Development, which act as a bridge between the government and civil society. Shih-I has been involved in advocating for gender equality and promoting the implementation of UN CEDAW in Taiwan, as well as assisting grassroots organizations to share their practice regarding women’s rights in international conference for many years. She has completed the courses of Human Rights: Politics, Ethics and Law and Globalization and Human Rights at the School of Global Studies, University of Gothenburg, Sweden in 2018. She also has a master’s degree in sociology from the National Tsing-Hua University, Taiwan.
